WALKWAYS & WALLS
Curving brick walkways (actually concrete pavers) are one of our specialties. In walkways, steps, or walls, I'm always up for a creative challenge in colour, pattern, and design.

Here's a job we did last summer ("you know where we were last summer!"), before on left, after on right. The task was to build a walkway at doorstep level that sloped away from the house to the drive. That required a foot of fill. The walk also led to the side yard and shed, with a wide junction that serves as a patio.

Pavers laid in a running bond pattern allow us to create beautiful curving walkways from driveway to entrance, or through the garden. A wide, flared entrance at the driveway is convenient and inviting.

Flagstone can be used informally as in these meandering steps by the garden, or in neatly curving patios and walkways, such as the one to the right. |

Retaining walls can be made of concrete blocks such as Allen Block Jr. to the left, or natural field stone or flag stone (right) |
